Maintenance of PVC and Linoleum Floors
Replacing an existing floor can be a time-consuming and costly process, with a significant negative impact on the environment. Fortunately, the new Bona Resilient Solution offers a sustainable alternative: renovating PVC and linoleum floors instead of replacing them. This not only saves waste but also significantly reduces costs. Renovating a floor is much cheaper than completely replacing it.
PVC Floors:
Instead of throwing away an old PVC floor, we can renovate it for you. We begin by sanding away surface scratches and thoroughly cleaning the floor, including cleaning the grooves. Next, the floor is lightly sanded and given a protective varnish layer. This makes the floor look like new and protects it for the coming years.
Linoleum Floors:
The traditional method for linoleum floors, where layers of wax are applied and then stripped annually, consumes a lot of water and chemicals, which is both environmentally harmful and time-consuming. With the Bona Resilient System, we can sand away these old polymer layers, apply a linoleum primer, and varnish the floor twice for long-lasting protection. This process is completely waterless and much more eco-friendly. Additionally, we offer the option to color the floor and add patterns after sanding, giving your floor a completely new look.
Benefits of the Bona Resilient Solution:
- Shorter downtime
- Significant cost savings
- Reduced environmental impact
- Improved floor durability
